Oak Harbor Soroptimists Welcome New Member and Honor Her Service

Soroptimist International of Oak Harbor inducted their newest member, Tamara Mills, while simultaneously recognizing her as September's Member of the Month. Mills demonstrated her commitment to service even before joining, volunteering at the club's recent Shred It event and eagerly participating in upcoming project planning.

The induction ceremony was attended by current club president Stephanie Smith and club member Nora Balda, who welcomed Mills to the organization. Mills' immediate engagement with club activities demonstrates the type of active involvement that characterizes the Soroptimist mission.

The Oak Harbor chapter continues to seek service-minded women interested in joining their global volunteer organization, which focuses on providing women and girls with educational and training opportunities for economic empowerment.
