Oak Harbor Soroptimists demonstrated their commitment to supporting survivors of intimate partner violence through a meaningful contribution to the YWCA's Homeward Bound Shelter, also known as Pathways for Women, in South Snohomish County. Club President Stephanie Parvin Smith led the local chapter's donation effort, which was presented during the District 1 meeting in Lynnwood this past weekend.

The initiative aligns with the organization's monthly focus on assisting women affected by intimate partner violence. The Oak Harbor chapter joined forces with Soroptimist clubs throughout Western Washington, contributing essential items and funds to support the shelter's vital work. This collaborative effort exemplifies the Soroptimist mission of improving the lives of women and girls through programs leading to social and economic empowerment.
