Oak Harbor Soroptimists Enhance Local Birthing Center with Medical Equipment Donation

Soroptimist International of Oak Harbor has strengthened local maternal healthcare through a significant donation to WhidbeyHealth's Family Birthplace. The club funded the purchase of three portable monitors for the birthing center, enhancing the facility's ability to provide comprehensive care during labor and delivery.

Club members gathered at WhidbeyHealth to present the donation to Family Birthplace Manager Tabitha Sierra and WhidbeyHealth Foundation Executive Director Rainy Simpson, joined by the dedicated nursing staff who will put this equipment to use. The portable monitors represent Soroptimist Oak Harbor's commitment to creating a more comfortable and supportive environment for mothers and newborns in our community, ensuring local families have access to quality maternal care close to home.
