Career Support for Girls
Dream It, Be It
Dream It, Be It: Career Support for Girls gives girls tools they need to achieve their education and career goals, empowering them to break cycles of poverty, violence, and abuse.
Dream It, Be It is designed for secondary school girls facing challenges that could impact their future success. This program connects them with professional role models, career education, and resources they need to pursue their dreams. We collaborate with girls through small group sessions or one-day conferences, focusing on the topics they care about most. These include exploring career opportunities, setting and achieving goals, overcoming obstacles, and bouncing back from setbacks or failures. Our goal is to equip them with tools and confidence to build a bright future.
Why we do it
Too many girls encounter barriers that stand between them and their dreams. Challenges like poverty, teen dating violence, and teen pregnancy can make it seem impossible to achieve their full potential. Dream It, Be It is here to change that. We empower girls to overcome these obstacles, set bold goals, and confidently pursue the bright futures they deserve.

In her own words
“I loved the whole idea of empowering us. They made us feel like no matter our background or situation, we can make it. We can become something successful."
